The Bush tab turns a satellite view into your sugarbush map. Drop a pin for every tap tree, tank, pump, junction and waypoint, mark the sugarhouse, and draw your mainlines. It all saves to your device, with no account.

See a leak before the sap stops.
Read the gauge at the pump and at the end of each mainline, and log it. SweetRun does the comparing. When a line end reads well under the pump, it says so.

- Leak suspects. Mainline C read 17.2 in at the end and 24.5 in at the pump: a 7.3 in drop, flagged in red.
- Watch the bush. Lines, pumps and tanks on one screen, readable across the room. Prop an iPad in the sugarhouse and keep the screen awake.

Draw off on the number.
Start a boil and the screen becomes your pan-side log: the clock, pan temperature against your draw-off mark, the last Brix reading, syrup drawn, and a running estimate of syrup made. Add a reading every so often and the chart draws itself.
Your draw-off point is water’s boiling point plus 7.1°F. SweetRun works it out for your elevation. Check the hydrometer before you jar it.

SweetRun pulls the 7-day forecast for your exact location and scores each day 0 to 100 for sap run potential. It models freeze and thaw, temperature swing, sunshine hours, wind and precipitation: the same variables veteran sugarmakers read every morning.
Don’t lose your grade to bad timing.
Buddy sap comes from trees that have begun to bud. It looks like good sap in the tank, and the syrup it makes is darker, cloudier and off-flavor. Log one Brix reading a day and SweetRun plots the trend. A drop of more than 30% from your peak, with no freeze left in the forecast, triggers a warning while you can still act on it.
Tomorrow: Hi 54° / Lo 41°. Score 18, no freeze. Syrup made now will be darker and may carry an off-flavor that drops your grade from Golden Delicate toward Dark Robust.
